    There was a guy selling maverick versions of those on ebay a couple years back, I wish I would have bought one because I cant find them anymore.

    do mav and stang gas caps interchange, i remember being able to use the gas cap off of my moms 66 stang on my maverick

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    I saw one of the caps on a Comet GT this weekend. He told me he had to adjust the face of the cap so that it would "clock" right when installed. I did not see the back of it, but I am sure it involved drilling out rivits and drilling some holes on the back side.

    thats an awesome gas cap. if I remember if later I might use it for the grill on my comet. I like my original comet gas cap for the rear
