    Hi from Sweden

I´m looking to mount a front lower spoiler on my -72 Maverick.

I´m aware that the models for the mustang probably isn´t a perfect fit, but what year model is the closest one to fit the Maverick in terms of size?

Here in Sweden i can buy the spoiler as following:

    64-66: Spoiler fram 64-66 termoplast | Custom & tillbehör grill Mustan (vp-autoparts.se)

    67-68: Spoiler fram Mustang 67-68 | | (vp-autoparts.se)

    69: Spoiler fram Mustang 69 termoplast | Frontplåt Mustang 69-70 - (vp-autoparts.se)

    70: Spoiler fram Mustang 70 termoplast | Frontplåt Mustang 69-70 - (vp-autoparts.se)

    71-73: Spoiler fram 71-73 | Frontplåt Mustang 71-73 - Front/grill - Ka (vp-autoparts.se)

I have no problem with reshaping the plastic, but want the closest one to start with.

    Regards,

    Andreas

69/70 Shelby is just about as perfect of a fit as you will find.

'69-'70 fits the '70-'72 Maverick front valance. It does not fit the '73 Maverick valance. I learned this the hard way...

Perfect, thanks for the feedback. One thing that i noticed is that the spoiler for 69 has more rounded edges....and the 70 is more straight...

personaly i think the 69 looks better of the two below....any thoughts?

You will want the 69/70 Shelby one. It fits!

    That spoiler looks awesome.
When I discovered that it wouldn't fit my '73 valance (and I didn't want to put a '70-'72 valance on), I did the next best thing by fabricating an air dam out of polyethylene material. Looks dang good, but the spoiler looks even better...

I love the look of that 69/70 Shelby unit. It looks old school but also brings to mind a modern splitter-style front end.
