mustang II disc brakes

    I was just wondering if mustang II disc brakes would work on my maverick. and are drum and disc brake spindles the same?

    no they wont work. the spindles have the steering arm facing forward and mavericks have it facing towards the rear.

    Spindles are different too but you can get kits that use the drum spindles. Used stuff is out there too, I had a set that I couldn't seem to sell so I gave them to a friend for his kids 65 Mustang.

    IIRC, stock Mustang II discs are smaller than Later Mav/Granada stuff.

    I believe the stock Mustang II rotors are 9 inch and the Granada's are 11 inch.:)
