Hello everybody! I'm in the process of designing my 1972 Grabber build and need some help. I've got my rear end set-up figured out but need some help on the front. I really like the Mustang II suspension and would like to use it. My goal is to run 1994-2004 Mustang type aftermarket wheels. With them being staggered such as 17"-17", 17"-18", or 18"-18". With 8+" wide front wheels, rear 10+". I would like to put 2" dropped spindles and drop the rear end 1". Does anybody know what kind of backspacing I can run on the Mustang II front end?

I have 17x7 inch rims with 4" back spacing on the front.

Make sure you stagger the rim size front to rear. I have 18x8 in the rear. If you don't you will have a weird visual problem.

If for instance you run 17x7 front, and 17x8 in the back. the smaller diameter tire on the front will make it look almost like you have 18's on the front compared to the rear. When looking at the profile. The front rim will look much larger in diameter than the rear because of the smaller tire. I have seen it many times, always good for a chuckle.
