    Mustang strut rods will not fit in our cars without MAJOR modifications.....however, there are several companies now that make spherical bearings that will work with our strut rods.

    I had one break once and I'd swear the replacement part had a 70 mustang part number on it?D0ZZ****** something.:huh: maybe it was mis-tagged?

    Maybe some year models will cross over, I just didn't think that they had the curve at the control arm end.......the guy that designed my strut rod bearings said that the mustang version would not work with a Mav/Comet.

    Hey Chris, I bet your new one doesn't have strut rods!!! :D:evilsmile

    those are the things that hold up the hood right?:biglaugh:


    I cant say about whatever aftermarket stuff may or may not work, but for stock replacement I'm 99% sure that the 70 stang is the same part#
