i tried this thread on the parts interchange portion pf the forum, but had no luck. sooooooo, try 2 i heard some where that a fox body mustang v8 throttle cable is identical to a v8 maverick throttle cable. is this true, and if so, does it need to be a carb car, or will a fuel injected mustang have the same cable? if i am totally off what car would work? thanks
All the 70's - mid 90's Ford throttle cables are very similar in design, so I have no doubt that it would fit the car. The length is what matters. You would definitely want one from a carbed Mustang, like an '83 or '84 GT. The EFI cables are definitely going to be too long.
