Has anybody recovered their Maverick Buckets with 69-70 Mach 1 upholstery. The shape looks indentical to the Maverick. Dan

The seats are of a different size & it will not work. I have a set of Mach buckets & they are physically larger. A quality upohlstery shop can duplicate what you're looking to do fairly easily.

    Current project

Well - here is my current project once all the parts are in hand.

Take 1974 Maverick Grabber Buckets which basically look like a thicker puffier version of the 71-72 buckets and remove foam. I am hoping that the frame underneath it is the same as the 71-72.

Take some 70 Mach 1 foam - got one for $69 on ebay - and see if it fits the frame.

If it fits - Cover it with black/black 70 Mach 1 upholstery and have a Maverick logo embroidered in the headrest area.
