So they picked up a Boss 429 that sold for $160,000, unrestored all original car. They also did a 72 fast back with a 302 that they did a puppy mill resto on and put up on ebay. Check out the current bid!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous!:hmmm:

I think Aaron nailed it when he said they're not desirable, just cheaper than the good ones. Great parts cars for our Mavericks though.

I can't stand Aaron. None of the cars they build are worth a crap.

Just looked and it's at $200,000. Take off a zero and you've paid way more than it's worth!

There is no way they will collect on that, unless someone is insane..The car looked better before. They did nothing to it, it still has 4 wheel drum brakes.

I'd be shocked if a transaction actually took place, not even a 2nd chance offer (or 100th for that matter)...

It's amazing what some people will do for the chance to get on a TV show.

Seriously though, I'd be too embarrassed to show my face on national TV, or even have them mention my name after paying that much for a "reality resto"

Even if I was filthy rich with money to burn, I wouldn't pay that price for that car

I have to agree, no way it actually sells at that price. It'll be interesting to see if it gets mentioned in future episodes.

At best I concider those guys hacks. Every episode I watch it makes me sick that someone would pay that much for stuff they throw together and cover up. I know that it is all abput tv but they have zero morals and ethics.

I do know some of the buyers I work with know Richard Rawlings and the negotiations for buy they cars are known before filming and that the negotiations are scripted.
