my wife bought a 1974 mercury comet 4 door for only $500.00. you all can"t believe how many miles this car has on it. We went to take a look at it on a Saturday afternoon an my breath was taken from me. This thing is like a time capsule in side. It has clothe matireal. I was under the impression that they only had vinyl. Everything works, it has 9975 miles on it so I could not pass this car up for anything. We put a new gas tank on it an straps. With a new sending unit from Autokrafters. We are now in the prosses of buying new belts an hoses from Rockauto since they have better prices then some parts stores.
