I'm sure this post will make a certain someone cringe.....But today, I started on my 1974 Grabber, that I have owned for since 1991. It's been sitting at one side of my garage, while many other projects have come and gone, it's quietly sat there and waited it's turn. It's time has come.
I ran out of daylight, so I'll post some pic's tomorrow.

Well, I suppose it's better late than never? Always great to see more of these get finished and get back on the road.

Didn't you REALLY start on it many, many years ago??

As you as you get it done for the MCCI Roundup Nationals in Hannibal, Missouri this summer....that is all that matters!! :D

Mike does body work for a living, so he did the body and paint on my 73 Grabber.
We both did a nasty "Wack & Pack" on my 74 years ago,(but back then, we didn't care, or know that I would still own this car). We've both been dreading this day for years.....But I plan on doing most of the bodywork on this car myself. The green car was just the practice round for this one.

So, it was a crappy cool day today, plus I had to go and do a few services calls. I didn't get to push it outside like I wanted to.
Here are a few pic's from inside the garage.

In the first picture, you'll see the rust free blue fender I bought in Florida around 1998 for $25......
Second picture is the empty engine bay, never torched out to grease the upper ball joints.
Third, there's a piece of a floor I cut out of a 74 Comet, to replace the perforated section of the floor (I use to have a piece of 1/4" plywood under the carpet) Also note, the factory Orange leather wrapped steering wheel.
Forth, under the back seat (exciting)
    Fifth, the trunk.

Wow, that's the first time I've seen a Maverick with the reinforced shock towers that wasn't a '73.
