my 70 maverick build

    I've found rust under the fenders & under the lip of the hood, as usual. Also a small hole in passenger side floorboard were the heatercore must have leaked at one time. But there is no rustholes anywhere else. I've scraped all the rustproofing off the fenderwells & upper & lower a arms and there clean.soon I getting manual disc upfront, from a donor maverick. I also bought a 9 inch I couldn't pass up, with 3.55's just gotta get a locker for it. Pulling the motor & tranny this weekend,so I can do it right.

    In your center photo, there looks like a rubber grommet on the face of the drivers side front torque box - what is that for? My torque box is missing from just above that point to the bottom so I have no idea :tiphat:

    That is actually a hole in the panel, it appears to be from some kind of shrapnel, the hole is bent in like a bullet hole. ??? Gonna weld it up when I patch the other spots.

    No rear spoiler. No sport mirrors. Only white or black side stripes available in 1970.
