That's a lot better then I could ever do with a Boss 302 motor. You must've reworked the heads because factory heads are really the problem with that motor. 5:36 gearing seems a bit steep for 1/4 mile.

I gotta tell you, Ive had alot of success with the Boss Motor, when I put my first one together, the heads were stock. With 12to1 pistons, a solid cam, the stock dual plane intake, and the hedman hustler headers, the car ran 12.0's , when I put the torqueplates in the heads and put on the roush intake it ran 11.40's, then I filled the intake and heads, did some exhaust port work and put the stinger plates in, a roller cam, tubular automotive headers, and various other things, and the motor makes a touch over 500hp at 8200 rpm on the dyno. The 5.43 gear and a 7inch converter works great for the motor combo.
