It was a great cool weather day at the track today with the Maverick. I have consistently been getting the car in the low 12.80s last weekend and today, but I was having tire spin issues today(2.0 60 ft. times). I increased the MPH today to 108 from last weekend of 106. I ran a 12.76 and a 12.74 today but still poor 60 ft. Last weekend I was running 1.8s and low 1.9s. So, I went ahead and finally did a real burn out today with the line lock and everything(I know, I am such a girl....) and ran a 12.61 with it at 108!!! Before I was just driving around the water and dry hopping it until I got used to the car. That is a personal best for me and the car. Before the car had a personal best of 12.65 with these gears with Al driving.

And even better yet, I made 13 passes with it and don't have anything to add to the embarassing track moments thread. I almost did, I ran out of gas one round at the 1/4 marker(still ran a 13.11) but coasted off the track and limped to the gas pump off of fumes. No towing was involved, so not embarassing.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW PB! (y)

13 times? Sounds like you might be real competition for the "Stop-N-Go Indy 500" Champ on here. ;)
