    my comet was previously posted on this forum before i owned it. the photos show it with the same exhaust set-up and wheels that i bought it with. i was just wondering if anyone remembers it and if anyone can recollect and posts about it. its in the comet gallery on page 12 posted jan 1, 2009.

    i took that photo. the person who owned it before me is "71 mercury gt"
    i found all the old posts. thanks though:tiphat:

    Looks better without the "GT", and it looks to be lowered a bit from those old pictures..

    I remember that guy. He thought his car was a factory GT...even though it was a 4-door.

    It's just because I don't fill up the air shocks too much (I hate air shocks) . And i replaced the fat Mickey thompson tires that I'm pretty sure were on there when he bought the car. As for the "gt" thing, I think he was told by the guy who sold it to him that it was a gt and wanted to believe it. I know they didn't make four door gt's:naughty: but ill admit I got kind of excited when I saw the photo of the trunk badge. It isn't there any more. But whatevs.. The dude was pretty cool and I picked her up for a good price
