I've owned many cars since I turned 15 so working on cars is not new to me. I've always dreamed about owning a muscle car, and to me, that's what my new Maverick is. It is a 1973 4 door with the 302 V8. It has a green exterior and interior. Everything is original and it only has 6800 miles on it. My father-in-law gave it to me as a gift. I really look forward to taking this car to shows.

I don't have any pictures on the internet yet. I don't have a scanner yet. I just got the car on Friday. Sadly, it has a little rust from being at 10000 feet in the Rocky mountains for 30 years. It's still a great car and will be a fun project. Oh, and I'm from Arkansas.

Jon; I was just looking at the archives, and at the boards from 1999, when I joined. Although not my first mav, it was the first in a long time, and I still have the same enthusiasm for the car as I did then. Fun to look back, and follow your car from then till now. Good luck with it, and keep us posted.

Welcome to the board Jonathan, I ALSO HAVE A 73 BUT A GRABBER INSTEAD OF FOURDOOR. YOUR LUCKY STILL THOUGH , FORD CHANGED SEVERAL THING FOR THE 73 YEAR PRODUCTION , SO YOU WILL HAVE MORE UNIQUE OPTIONS THAN SOME OF THE OTHER YEAR MODELS HAD . MAKES NICE FOR A RESTORATION OF THESE CARS. GOOD LUCK WITH IT AND HAVE FUN...
