I've owned many cars since I turned 15 so working on cars is not new to me. I've always dreamed about owning a muscle car, and to me, that's what my new Maverick is. It is a 1973 4 door with the 302 V8. It has a green exterior and interior. Everything is original and it only has 6800 miles on it. My father-in-law gave it to me as a gift. I really look forward to taking this car to shows. Jonathan
welcome jonathan.lots of good people and info here.where are you from?also any pics you can post?(you'll have to wait til sept 1st to post them). chuck.
I don't have any pictures on the internet yet. I don't have a scanner yet. I just got the car on Friday. Sadly, it has a little rust from being at 10000 feet in the Rocky mountains for 30 years. It's still a great car and will be a fun project. Oh, and I'm from Arkansas. Jonathan
Welcome fellow 73 4dr 302 owner. This is the place to be for Maverick info and Tech assistance. Everyone here is great. Good luck on your 4dr.
Jon; I was just looking at the archives, and at the boards from 1999, when I joined. Although not my first mav, it was the first in a long time, and I still have the same enthusiasm for the car as I did then. Fun to look back, and follow your car from then till now. Good luck with it, and keep us posted.
Welcome to the board Jonathan, I ALSO HAVE A 73 BUT A GRABBER INSTEAD OF FOURDOOR. YOUR LUCKY STILL THOUGH , FORD CHANGED SEVERAL THING FOR THE 73 YEAR PRODUCTION , SO YOU WILL HAVE MORE UNIQUE OPTIONS THAN SOME OF THE OTHER YEAR MODELS HAD . MAKES NICE FOR A RESTORATION OF THESE CARS. GOOD LUCK WITH IT AND HAVE FUN... JEFF
