I was kinda bummed out about not making it to the Va. meet so I decided to take the Mav down to the track Sat. night and entered in the Sportsman class bracket race, I was late gettin there and had 10 minutes to make a qualifying run and turned in a 9.74, I knew the car was better than that so I dialed in a 9.60. My first and only run I cut a .047 on the light and broke out with a 9.54.
I said the heck with it I'm not buying back in and went home.
I had added an MSD ignition system to the car last week and and the car had my curiosity up being that it never had run that fast before, so I took it down for some testing last night. The car made three straight passes in the low 9.5's.
As consistent as she was running I decided to enter the Gamblers race. I lost my first run by going to sleep on the light so I bought back in. I set my dial in at 9.52 and my baby proceeded to rattle off 4 straight wins for 1st place and a 125 bucks:eek: If the track posts the results I'll post a link....geez what a great time.

Ray you right...they are 1/8 th mile times...I only warp in my dreams...lol.
Dan I'm hooked...although I'm not going back until I get some better heads.
I think I've got all I can get out of the car now with out something other than the stock heads.
Some AFR's or Victor Jr's are in the very near future.
    Thx for the support guys.
