I think you have to go through a broker to bid with co-part

My Brother did that with his motorcycle. they told him that he had to buy it for like $4000 or $5000, and he told them to come and get it. He bought it back for like $500.

In fact I would drive to Tallahasse to haul it back myself if I didn't know you might want it back... wouldn't bid against you though, Money

I've bought more than 10 cars from there now and some states don't require one at all and Florida in particular allows private individuals to buy salvage cars.. just not titled ones.

Does that car still have a clear title?

Also figure on another $300-400 in buyers/various fee's if the car hits a grand. :)

EDIT: you are soooo lucky that car didn't end up in MN. I kid.. orrr dooo I? :D

I've seen some auctions with engine pics on Copart. Never tried buying a vehicle from them because I heard about it being a scam.

Yep...that didn't take long at all. Just goes to show that they truly WERE bluffing when they tried to make you think they had a buyer.
Heck, I'm registered with Coparts. I might even throw a bid that way but I certainly won't get crazy with it. Nothing but a parts car.

I tell ya'll what, go ahead and bid on it, i'm not really interested in it, I have bigger, better, faster Grabber.....s to deal with lol, as for the hood, don't buy it for that, it's not very good on the underside, the seats are great as well as the engine and tranny (1966 model 289 and a C4) anything else on it I don't know...well the gas tank was new, it will come with a Salvage Title though, so be careful on your bidding.
Oh and the interior is new from top to bottom, seats, carpet, headliner, door panels (one is broken on D/S) and all kick panels are freshly painted along with the rear deck covered in matching vinyl, window seals are both new and front windshield is new also, hope this helps ya make a decision, if you want to know about something else, just ask.

I'm really wanting an interior. My car doesn't even have milk crates for seats yet. I'm really liking the colors and for a guy who wanted custom interior this is what I was looking for.

I could use mostly everything. I've been wanting a maverick to go roundy round with. With a BFH and a cage I see no reason not to.
