    I think i'm going to add this trim on my hood.:) Anyone ever seen it or something like it done before?

    not sure if anyone has ever done it before. personally i don't care for it. i think it takes away from the hood. but who knows try it and see how it turns out. if you like it is the main thing.:)

    the trim is from a 1940 ford hood i'm working on for a friend hopefully he'll let me keep the trim, i also have a longer one that will extend to the back of the hood.

    That was the plan but rain and work have stopped me so it sits like this for now.

    The center hood trim in post #1 isn't bad but you need clearer pictures.

    Black out the hood,leave the trim on the 40:2cents:
