PAX TV has a Vintage car show and my Mav was one of the feature cars. They shot the show the end of September. Don't know when it will be on, but they sent me a copy of the segment. Its so cool. I called my friend that had the car for 10 years before I bought it from him and is he bugged. In all the time he had it he never even got noticed. If ya see the show, in front of the Grabber Blue beauty is a grey headed old guy. Just disregard him it's just me.
Hey Bob!!! Do know Brent Mulvaney? He is in the FCA too, he also owns a Maverick and hails from here in Illinois and attends the Round-up everyother year. On the off year he goes with his brother to attend the FCA yearly get together. Dont think he is on the puter though. I have seen most of his cars. NICE! Dan
Hey mavman the celeb was the car not me! I'll get ya a autographed photo of the Maverick. Dan, I don't know Brent.
I hooked up with Bob last night while he is here in Baltimore. I had a great time talking about all the same stuff we grew up on. Models, slot cars, Falcons, Fords and general stuff. Super guy. Unfortunately, I dont get the show your car is in. Maybe I can get someone to tape it and send me a copy.
Hey Bob, how is it going??? I would love to see that show, but don't have cable... Perhaps if you record it and can spin off a copy or two, I would be willing to pay you for it, etc, I would love to see your car on tv!
Tim Stansberry was the camera guy on the show. He made me a copy of the show. Here is his e-mail address: StanTW@fusd.net The segment was taped at the Buroughs High School Car show in Burbank, Ca. September 2003. I don't get that show on cable either. Tell him I sent ya. He knows me under my name: Bob Beck Mavahalic.....Thanks for the tour of your cars and the time out. It's great to bench race with someone as I travel the globe, ok, ok the USA any way.
