well not literaly but i took of the hood off

haha wish someone had warned me-the hood calopsed when i took the last bolt off and it scratch edthe windsield it was alright since it's alredy messed up and i'm gonna have to buy another one-at least it didnt break

if you've never used PB BLASTER Before you should go to napa and buy a whole case this stuff is amazing the guy who invented it should be president

anyways i took the hood off to repair the underside rust
gonna sand tomorow then spray with primer then lay like 2-3 layer of flat black spray paint [i know]
    :ttiwwp:
    will try to get pics
then b4 i put the hood back on i'm gonna replace the oil hose(idk what its called-but i'm gonna get one that wont melt) and probally take off the valve covers to finally determine once and for all what engine i have(90% sure its a 302 but might be 289)

oh yeah what have you guys done for the hood trim were the drain holes are supposed to be? the trim actually covers them what was ford thinking?:coco:

:D Well what did you think it would do, just hold it self up in mid air? LOL

PB Blaster is definately the best stuff out there. Spray some on your door hinges. Makes the doors close a little TO easy. :)

Nothin' wrong with flat black spray paint. :D

:biglaugh: i actually was going to put wood blocks in the back so it wouldnt fall as hard but i was lazy and just put a funnel(why i have no clue:coco: )
when i fell the prop bent to the right like 180 degrees and the hood hit me in the face:banghead:

well since it only has a lil'bit of rust i'm not going to cut it out just grind some off maybe if i get to use the welder i may cut it and add a piece of sheet metal

right now its untouced-it was getting dark so had to go inside

When I was 15 I almost knocked myself out doing that exact thing. I learned real quick, after the stars went away, to keep the nut on but loose.
