These are some pics I have been trying to post, on where we started and where we are going, the engine is all but done, now we can finaly start on the interior, then the body. This has been a labor or love for my son and me. My Wife on teh other hand, well lets just say she'd rather not talk about it.

Now that the engine is thru, we are starting the interior, we found these seats out of a 2000 firebird, the price was right....$.00 Will recover them soon, we have also started painting the kickplates, and such, grey, the interior will have black seats, and mostly grey everything else. Thinking of a black with silver stripe exterior. My son just didnt like the green. I dont know why.:D

I like the exterior color, can't say I have seen many that color.
What kind of rims do have on your car?

Making nice progress. I like the before and after of the floor, what a difference. When my wife starts whining at me I just offer to store her in the freezer. She quits, hmmmm wonder if she thinks I am psycho? :bananaman

    American racing rims

The best I can do on the rims info, is to tell you they say "American racing" But we have done lots and LOTS of "value" shopping. the rims, and tires cost us $200 we liked the price ALOT, and loved the rims as well, and they even fit! :bananaman Between the bolt pattern, and the turning clearnce, we spent alot of time looking for rims. The color of the car will be changed, but because we like the color, it has made it easier to do other things first. And BTW!!! I just found out my next door neighbor, is a "body Man" for a local paint shop. And has offered services. See it always pays to be nice to your neighbors!!! Espicaly when you dont know what they do for a living!! LOL! And to think last fall when he needed a hand cutting down limbs, I was just trying to be a good neighbor.
BTW!! now that the engine FINALY works for more than 3 days at a time, the wife is now telling me how happy she is, that "she talked me into buying an older car to fix up" Truth be told, she now smiles when she hears our son from around the corner.
