Well there is a really long story that I have typed too many times so here is the short one. I bought a gt40 345 horsepower long block from ford racing hooked it up to a T5 and got a lot of goodies for it. Here is a copy of a magazine article where they dynod the motor on an engine dyno, my differnt specs are I have 1.7 Roller rockers instead of 1.6, rpm "airgap"intake instead of rpm, and I ahve Hooker Super competition headers vs heddman the motor pulled out these numbers: What do you guys think? This is flywheel horsepower, any idea of what the other parts I have would add to this motor? I have heard "air gap" 8 hp, 1.7s 1-5hp , hooker headers 3-6 hp
Short story this time, on mavmans drag car we had the same setup as yours for awhile. Stock heads with 1.94 valves etc. and bolted on a pair of Edelbrock RPM heads with roller rockers. Picked up a full half second on the et's. thats a bunch considering most times a full tenth would be great. Never chgd. anything else but the heads.
