My car did not reach the $3950 reserve I had on it. I had talked to the high bidder on the phone before it was over, and he had $3100 as his limit. Oh well, the wife is satisfied, it only cost the $42 fee, and I get to keep it.

I think I will start looking for a 87-92 mustang 5.0 engine as a core. I want a 125,000 mile or less still standard bore (not overhauled before) example. Anybody got one in northern CA or Reno? I am already saving my pennies for a set of AFR heads.

OK, a poll: Yes or no on using a set of original 14" Centerline wheels I have. They are a clean 20+ year old set of the first design, the riveted two piece satin finish spun aluminum design. They are LIGHT! Would they look better or worse than the stock wheels. They were cool when I was in High School but it has been a while! Any other ideas?
