    the car is for sale in town here for $3,500. i have seen the car and it has some rust on the rear quarters behind the tires. if you go to www.sirace.com and then to classifieds you can email him and maybe get somemore pics of the hood.

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    looks like the late model GTO hood scoops or any poncho hood scoops for that matter

    damn $3500 for that! someone wanna buy my yellow car for 5.5k? really!

    Yeah, it's pretty obvious they are 71-73 scoops.
    They were unique compared to others mentioned.

    Looks to me like he used a donor hood and mated it to the stock hood.
    Doesn't look fiberglass, but it's hard to tell from that pic.
    About 10 years ago all the fiberglass companies were putting those scoops on anything and everything. Fad...

    If one of those companies happened to make a fiber Maverick hood, you could probably have special ordered it. Most of the manufacturers will install any scoop they make on any hood they make, for enough money.
