Who has ran into this problem. I just got my 71 Comet GT out of the paint shop. They could not put the hood on for me. Four of the six square-looking nuts that go into the inner fender where the hood hinge attaches are gone! The holes are there in the inner fender, but the nuts are gone. Are these pressed into the inner fender? Are they available anywhere? I need some, quick!
I got some from an auto-body supply store locally once. Don't remember what they're called though. You may check there if you have one. I'm sure someone will chime in here before long with the exact name lol. May also be able to cross reference a Mustang part...sorry not more help.
