You can get "mounts", you can get those at most parts houses. Frame stands, well, those are maverick/comet specific and you will need to hunt those babies down:D . Good luck

also i dont like the big bumpers i have seen people take them off and leave them off. if i took my front bumper off would that expose my radiator to rocks flying into it. and/or is it gonna be stupid looking?

i got my motor mounts at napa. they were about $14 each. you can do a swap to the smaller bumpers. do a search in the archives for info on that.:)

I wouldnt take the front bumper off and leave it off, if you dont like the way the big bumper looks then do a small bumper conversion on it. Plenty of info about that here. And what wrong with big bumpers?

    I like...big bumpers, and I can not lie:rofl2: :evilsmile

Frame stands you are going to have to buy used from someone or out of a junkyard. I got mine for $8 with a double hump cross member because I'm a lucky bastard, but they usually run around $100. You can get the engine mounts from any auto parts store. Just tell them you need motor mounts for a 74 Maverick with a 302.

Leave your bumpers alone until you have all the stuff to do a small bumper swap. Your car will look really crappy if you just take the bumper off and drive around.

The motor mounts bolt to the motor, available at any parts store, Frame mounts bolt to the chassis to accept the motor mounts. They are only available from another V8 Maverick or Comet. So you will have to find a used set. Start looking through the junkyards or ebay. You can also post a parts wanted on this message board.
