I have a 1991 5.0 in my 70 maverick, it currently doesnt have any power steering at all. and i wanted to know what all I would have to do to put a early 90's?(assuming) powersteering style on the car. any help would be greatly appricated, the car is serp, belt drive. and just has a custom made bracket where the powersteering pump shud go. thats it..

    thank you

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
Most guys use the serpentine pump with the stock power steering system. No one seems to have a problem with it, so it looks like the pressures are similar. I will also be running that set up.

Oh and most guys prefer the Manual setup, so i'm sure someone would be more than happy to trade you their power setup for your manual one.
