need help forgot seatbelt installation

    I remove carpet and install a new about a year later ,now I don't remember where the seatbelts go. Its a 73 with three piece seatbelts set per seat (two front seats). If anyone has a diagram it would be great. Thanks

    Do you know if its the same as a '72? I don't have any pictures of the mounting holes before they were reinstalled but if it would help I can take some pictures of the installed seat belts. There are three pieces for each seat: short piece with the female buckle bolted to the drive shaft tunnel, retractable lap belt bolted to the rocker panel behind the front seat, and shoulder strap mounted by the quarter window.

    I put the bolts in the holes and after the carpet is installed I feel for the bolts and cut a very small "x" on them. After the carpet, I. Would guess you would have to pull it back to find the holes.

    Crawl under the car with some large framing nails and you can see where they bolt in from the tunnel side under there, then just shove a nail in the hole through the carpet and you can then tell where they are from the inside, as for the other side I think you can take the sill plate off and see them there.
