I finally got my ET Street slicks installed on some hand-me-down rims. I have the option at this point to "attempt" to polish the rims up, or just paint them with a semi-gloss black to make them "disappear". I have been leaning toward painting them black. Figured I would give you guys a chance to help me figure it out.

Front rims will not match, and will most likely be cheap steel rims painted black.

I voted my vote of painting them black...that way, all you see when it is moving is the M/T in white.

Also, no matter what front rims I have, cheap steel rims, or whatever, I can paint them to match.

Don't waste your time either way. Sell them and buy some steel rims.

I will use these maybe...that is a capital MAYBE...3 times per year. The ET Slicks were free, and used to the wear bar, and the rims were free (trade). I don't want to sink anymore money into them.

But, I WILL spend $3 for a can of spray paint...:D

Wasn't planning on painting the car...honestly, I don't have any idea...

As for the following picture...I kinda like it... Use a little imagination...I am not a photoshop expert. Probably should have painted it a little more "semi" black...

The more I look at this photoshopped pic, the more I think of the new 20-22" truck rims that are powdercoated black... and I kinda like.

They would look good shiny and polished too...hence the poll to help me decide.

    This is not an option...

This is my first poll, and I should have thought of adding "leave em be" as a poll option...
