Hmmm, the way to do it if you had keys would be to remove the steering wheel, then turn the key to the ON position and use a small screw driver to press in on the realease in the steering column and pull out on the lock cylinder. I'm not really sure how you would get it out without the keys. :hmmm:

I have used a very small screw driver to "feather" the tumblers and sucessfully started my car without the key before, but it takes alot of practice to figgure to do that.

    Lock smith?

I would pick the lock to get it into the position to get it out but I have done that a few times before and I have the picks - I was a mechanic and I bought the tools for my work. I still occasionally use them.
If you invite all your friends who own Fords over, someone might have a key that will work when you turn it while wiggling it up and down. Once it is turned more than about 30 degrees you can do anything that you can with the right key.
So, get it all ready to remove the lock and then invite your friends over.
Once you have the lock out a locksmith can make a key. I would suggest taking the car to the locksmith to get a trunk key made unless you want to do the same thing to get it out too.

Yep, the key to my '72 fits my dad's '95 Mustang GT! You gotta do it just right though.
