fresh from the Kentucky snow bound hills.... lol. just drug it home, so here's the stats: -1977 Maverick 2dr -250, automatic -p/s -a/c -power disc brakes car is spring time yellow with a standard black interior. had wheel well moldings and lower window moldings as well. frame rails are rusty (OH car) so it'll be stripped down and parted out. had to buy this one.... it came from "Adams" county (my last name), and the guy's address was 1122 (my b-day, Nov 22).. so those were my signs to own it :16suspect now, here's the pics!!! more pictures at: http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i82/mean_maverick/1977 2dr yellow/
well thanks guys. i may just sell some of my nicer cars and build this one. it only needs doors, fenders, floors, inner aprons, frame rails, etc.... but it's super straight with a clean title if nothing else, ill just wait for all of the reproduction parts to come out :Handshake
you would think the things you listed are problems but actually they are not. lets start doors are not necessary how else could you get out of a car while going down the road. many old hotrods don't have fenders so your car don't need them the holes in the floor mean it was owned by fred flintstone so it's celebrity ownership greatly increases the value. why would you need inner aprons its not like you are going to use the car to clean house are you. a frame is not needed we'll just bolts the spring hangers to the floorpan. Being a strait body with a clean title means fred flintstone took good care of his car. Now everybody knows fred flintstone and why would you want to part out his car when you could drive it around while you scream yabba-dabba-doo
Out of curiosity, what's the cylinder thing in front of the right shock tower and in front of the engine?
i threw the doors back on it, set the fenders on it and laid the hood on top and it's looking alot better. i may drive it around a little before i part it out.... who knows
