Does anyone know where to get body pieces like fenders and trunks? My project has a fair bit of rust that i want to take care of but I would rather buy whole new body peices rather than having the rust cut out and new metal welded in because theres a few dents as well. Any help would be great :burnout:

Welcome aboard. You might wanna post your location. Lots of people on here have parts for sale so it would be best (cheapest) if you find parts pretty close to you. Do you have a list of what parts you need?

I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and I could really use front passenger side fender, trunk and passenger door, but anything would be considered I'm in the first stages of my project so a lot of body work has to be done

Post up some pictures so we can see what "lots of body work has to be done" looks like.

Ill get pictures up as soon as I can, but before that I have one more question, are any parts interchangable between the older style mustang and the maverick/comet? Because there are so many stores in calgary that sell mustang body parts? Thanks for the help

Mustang floor pans fit very well with some adjustment.

hey man, I live near winnipeg. welcome to the sight. that I know of, there are no new replacement body parts with the exception of fibreglass fenders that fit very poorly, and some rocker panels that pop up on ebay from time to time. I could be wrong but someone will chime in to correct me if I am. there oar a very few people on this form that make different hoods from fibreglass or carbon fibre. there is a guy in Calgary who has some comets and Mavericks. he parts them out. his name escapes me right now but I have bought fenders from him in the past. I will try to get his name ..... hmm.

anyway welcome to the best forum on the web. :drive:
