New c4 today

    1972 mercury comet with a maverick front end. It has a 1992 5.0 motor in it.
    Ok heres my question i have a 92 ho block 50oz. So do i need a 50oz 157 flexplate? Thanks

    If that's a small bell C4, and it looks like it is, then yes, 157 tooth 50 oz. If that's the converter that came with it, measure the bolt pattern and make sure it's 10 1/2" instead of 11 7/16". B&M used to sell an SFI flexplate for about $60, I think they have gone up though.

    Yep, that's what you need. You can tell that's the small bellhousing because the ribs on the top go all the way down.:)
