Over the holidays I had some time to finally finish the Granada console project I started a over a year ago. Tim Keck sold me a really nice maroon console, but as you can see from the pics, I've made some changes. I used two different colors of tan to coordinate with my interior colors, and painted the aluminum strip in the middle black. I was also able to make use of some extra upholstery fabric to cover the armrest and shifter bezel as well. I got rid of the idiot lights and used a peice of plastic to fill the cubbyhole and mount some guages. Inside the armrest compartment I mounted a remote decklid release as well as the switch for the power door locks (not shown). I had to relocate the radio, graphic equalizer, and CD changer controller but I like it better this way because it gives the whole thing a cleaner look. I'm really pleased with the result and just figured I'd share it with you all. Sam
Very nice, Sam. I love the blackout treatment and never knew that you had a Comet tail lights on your Maverick.
