Hey everybody, just thought I'd put up a thread to say hello! I don't actually own a Maverick or a Comet, but I LOVE them, and if any of you happens to want to sell one really cheap, I might be interested. See ya'll around! :bananaman

Welcome!. You might want to check with Doug about finding a Texas Maverick. He goes by the name of DAB on this board. He lives in Texas too and has more Mavericks than I can count.:)

    delayed response

Thanks for the welcome, guys and gals! I haven't been on this site for like a month (busy with a new job) but I still figured I'd get on and say WUT'S UP and thanks for the welcome, and I hope to be joining the proud ranks of Maverick owners within the next 6 months or so.

shooter, welcome. i have an extra maverick lying around, but i doubt you want it. it's way too much of a project. considering i got it when i was 16 and it's been sitting outside ever since... it was in rough shape then, it makes me want to cry now.

man, that's a sad story. I understand; I had a '78 f-150 that still brings a tear to my eye. I'd totally be up for a project, except the only projects I can afford right now are free and dirt cheap ones, and besides, I think you live in Wisconsin, and that's quite a long ways away. Thanks for the response to my post though! (y)
