New gauge pod

    well i made a new gauge pod out of a heat shield of a muffler, will clear coat it tomorow and snap a pic after its done in the car.
    pardon the pic, my dog chewed up my memory stick for the real camera

    OK, cool I will watch for the pic's.. Mine are in the dash where the center a/c vent was.....

    well put it in today, i like it so far, much better looking then my old one. best of all i didn't spend a penny making it.
    here is before and after pics, pardon the mess i'm rewiring the whole car
    btw its aluminum

    only four are hooked up atm, ign, fuel, fan, lights, in the near future will have line lock and electric water pump added on, last one may use for what ever accessory i want

    Mavgrab302, would you post a picture of your gauges in place of the a/c vent please? I would like to do that to my car and would appreciate any installation tips.

    Bruce, you wont want too see a pic of what it looks like now, all I did for now was bend the two tabs the vent screwed to out and mounted a three gage pod there. looks like crap with all the open space around it. But now that my welding skills are better im going to build a box that fits and angle the gages toward the driver...:) but if you still want to see I will take a pic....

    As for Zooomzoomguy, Your gages do look a lot better, and i love the switch panel nice work.....:)
