    Hi folks. I just purchased my first Maverick 4 days ago . It is a 1971.
    I have already purchased a 351W and a C4 trans to put in it.
    As a newbie I have many questions of course. :) I have a problem already though. Am having a difficult time finding headers to fit in the Maverick. Does anyone know where I can go for these and the model number maybe? :90:

    I also would like to put in a tilt column and front disc brakes. I was told to get these parts from a 75-80 Granada or Monarch. Does anyone agree to that or have other suggestions?

    :Welcome: from Atlantic Canada! Don't forget that 74-75 Mavericks and Comets also had disc brakes available as options. They came as standard equipment on 76-77's.

    Thanks so much for the heads up. That will give me more options. Can you tell me what tilt column fits well it the 71?

    I think you are right. I am in the process now of trading it for a newly built 302.

    Nothing bolts right in. Anything you find will need to be modified to fit.
