so there's been this 72 comet my boss spotted around the corner from work awhile ago. so he comes up to me one day and tells me "lets go check it out" (he knows i've been in the market for a cheap not mainstream muscle car again...i use to have a 500hp 1970 camaro)so we go and its clean...i mean clean! no rust anywhere except for some surface rust on the driver door. so the guy comes to my work and i offer him $400. he doesnt go for it...its a single owner car with rebuilt 302 ...2 weeks pass ...a guy comes to my work...turns out the owner (the first guys mom) has cancer and needs to liquidate her assets... ..long story short, i got a 99% rust free...all original(except the rebuilt 302) 1972 comet for... $200 so here i am...its sitting at my work right now, i'll bring my digital camera to work monday and take some pics for you guys. only problem is the c4 trans is kinda messed up. it jumps gears and wont stay in gear etc... so yea...im rob...i have a 1972 comet...i've been building classic cars since i was 18...nice to meet ya
