You're in Pampa .... I'm near Tampa. :bouncy:

    Welcome to the board.

Rest up prior to the Tour ... you'll need it! Did segments of three of them years ago. After three or four days you will be exhausted. Don't know how folks do the long haul ... It is a TON of FUN!

You had me confused a bit, Hehehehehehhe. You are talking about Drag Week I take it.
I am just an hour west of Topeka and about 2 1/2 hours from Great Bend. Great bend is a hoot to race, Not one of those high tech drag strips you see all the time, and even better it is the site for the "1st NHRA National Drag Racing Event". There is a lot of history there and it is a fun track to race on. Have been there several times. I have never been down the track in Topeka but have been to a few National events there. They used to run 2 a year for a couple of years, now only 1.
I will try to make it up there on Sunday, it will be a better day to go and maybe take a day off for the races on Monday.
If you need anything please let me know and I will see what I can do. You will be a long way from home and I know stuff happens. Feel free to message me and we can exchange phone numbers and email addresses.
    Good luck in the endeavor.
