    Joined a few weeks ago, but just now purchased a 1976 Maverick. Looks like there is a wealth of information here and some nice folks so I'm glad to be here. I'm from Arkansas and Have a few other old cars.

    I remember seeing that car advertised for sale. I like the color combo on the car and IIRC it has a 347 and a 5 speed which should make for a fun ride!!

    It does have a 347 and 5 speed. Moves along quite well, but I'm used to that with the 500 that my Cobra has in it.
