Hi everybody. I just swung a deal to buy my first Maverick, I used to have a 72 comet 302 auto. I live in BC Canada and I don't see many of these cars around. I'll bring it home this weekend. It's a 70 with a 6cyl. auto. It's a bit rusty, but not too bad. The grill is mint, which shocked me. Glass is good, door rubbers and weatherstrips, are good, as well as the interior, except for one 6 inch rip in the head liner above the pass. door. I plan on putting a 302 in and maybe convert it to a 4 or 5 speed, nuthin' like shifting your own gears. Anyway, I'll let ya know how it goes and will probably be back much for advise or parts finding.

Yes.....one of our members lives in Vancouver, BC. Did you buy the orange Maverick from him? As Ray said, he has a Blue Grabber you can't miss. You should caravan down with him the first weekend in September to our last Mini Meet of the year (Fall Ford Fest) in Graham, Wa. Looking forward to meeting you & seeing your car.
