new hood design (sort of)

    but what if we didnt want to do that type of work:16suspect

    if i were to do this i would... cut the holes but dont compleatly remove it... just bend it back so you have a "hood scoop" with a stock hood:huh::huh::huh:

    what do you think (the pic stinks but something like this(y))

    The mav is gone but i'm still here!
    yeah someone did that a few years back, it looked like one of those 442 hoods...let me look for the pic.

    I have a center section of a hood that I had cut out with the the intent to graft it onto a flat hood and turn it into something like a cobra/ possibly AMX looking scoop. Haven't gotten around to it yet though[​IMG]

    I had a Skylark with a Nova hood that had a Torino scoop welded onto it. They cut the scoop off a rusted Torino and welded it on. It didn't open but it was sanded and smoothed and primed. It looked factory and was different.
