New hood latch support bracket for 74?

    Hello everyone,

    I have a 74 comet gt that I am getting rid of the big bumpers on. I mocked-up the earlier model front valance I bought over the weekend and noticed that it didn't look quite right where it meets the hood latch support bracket. What is the difference between the brackets? Do I need to track down a different bracket or will the one I have now work if modified slightly?

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    You will need the 1970-1972 center grill support for a 1970-1972 front valence. You will need a 1973 for a 1973.
