New Hood

    I want a New hood and thinking of a cowl hood..where do i get one from???somthing light...where i can pick it up and put it to the side when i work on the engine?

    I got mine from "limited ability"......I mean Unlimited....sorry I had too.
    There is a few fiberglass makers that do hoods for mavs/coms......just the quality has been sketchie for the most part from almost every provider. Just do a internet search on fiberglass products or search the archives on this board....I guess it really depends on what day of the week it is made. Also, there as been, atleast in my experience, quite a bit of time between when you order it and when you get it.

    streetrod77: Nothing that I know of, some companies leave model years out because they just make the part, they don't do research on the cars. A '77 hood is no different than a '76 hood.

    Actually.........the hood could be different....in that the hood prop rod location is different. No biggie really................just get a different hood prop rod.
