Hey all, new to the group. Been a Maverick owner for the past year. unfortunately two weeks ago my baby was stolen from me right outside my apartment. I am desperately waiting for the call that she has been found and I can go pick her up. By the way she is a 71' maverick 2-door, white ext. black int., 200ci, C4 tranny. On a lighter note will be getting a 70' in need of a powerplant. Have the heart and soul of her torn down ready for build up. A nice 302 that will probably be bored and stroked for optimum perfomance, want to top it off with the new holley 750, you all no the one with the electronic powervalve protector. She already has the 9" in her and an early C5 so she'll be the toy. thanx Joe Albano
Hello and Welcome to the board, Sorry to hear about your Maverick being stolen I sure hope the cops find it and the perp who stole it they need to be punished for stealing your property.
Geezz, who the hell would steal a Maverick? Obviously some uniformed, depraved, low life, looser, scum bag who dont deserve to walk the streets as a free man. Hopefully he'll get the death penality when he's caught. Seriously, there is not much market for these cars or their parts so hopefully it is just some joy riding jerk and the car will turn up soon. There is a lot of easy stuff you can do to disable the car that dont cost anything when you get it back.

Sad part about overhauling is most of the cars are in decent or good shape. They need to get a mav that needs paint and everything else like mine
thanx to all supporters I thank all of you for your support and entusiasm on helpin me find her and the lousy SOB that snatched her up. Well to all those in south cali. she is in need of a paint job, new interioir, and rebuild of the tired motor. She ain't on overhaulin' because my wife wouldn't have let me buy a transportayion car in it's place to all that despise the maverick
