I just bought my first maverick. It's a 1970 . I want to make it a street drag car. from what I have been reading on the forums is the best rim size with out sticking out is a 15x8 with 4 inch backspcing. I want to run a 26 8.5 M/T slick Does this sound correct? Doing caltracs with a 9 inch all stock dimentions THANNK YOU
to the site!!!!! For that size tire with a stock width rear an 8 in wide wheel with a 4 inch backspace should work fine.....

Sorry guys no pictures of the car. It's parked at my dads house because I'm moving at the end of the month it was just Easyer to leave it there for the moment. I haven't been able to even see the car. Sucks because I want to start working on it. I did buy the aje front kit though but I'm waiting to start working On it to buy more things. As of pics the car is pritty much a basket case right now . Need a lot of tlc,nobody really did anything with it
