Hello Forum, I just inherited a 1973 Maverick from my son!? I am planning to install a 1988 5.0 H.O. from a Lincoln Mk 7 and use the AOD automatic from the Lincoln also. I will be lowering the car about an inch and adding larger diameter wheels and tires and up graded anti-sway bars. I have not searched the archives for answers yet but a few of my questions will be; What wheel diameter, width, offset and back spacing works best? Sway bar sizes front and rear for a good handling street car. Anyone running an AOD automatic? Difficulty fabricating a trans mount or is there an existing unit that will work? It has been suggested that I ditch the fuel injection for a carburetor. Any consensus on that operation? Looking forward to participating with the Forum, Bill PS, anyone out there in Silicon Valley area?
