    Just wanted to introduce myself since you will probably see me asking many questions bout my dad's 1976 Maverick that I am restoring. I am currently a Mustang guy, but I plan on installing a fuel injected 347 in place of the boring I6 currently in there:cry:

    none at moment had a 70 and 72 Ford Maverick
    Donjuan I had two Mavericks a 70 and a 72, also had a 70 mustang which when i had it i planned on putting the motor back in the Maverick.

    The only issues that worry me will the the fuel lines and the fuel tank. I was also hoping in updating the front suspension, but I am not sure what options I have in upgrades. It would be nice to put either a 9" or an 8.8" in the rear along with some disk brakes. Not necessary, but would be nice. I basically will have a donor mustang for the swap so I don't have to spend a fortune in nickel and dime parts. What ever is not used, I will just resell to recover some of the money.
