    1966 comet caliente
    Hi everyone
I hope I am doing this correct, if not I apologize.. I have a 1966 comet and having trouble with the wipers and wiring to the switch, we had to put a generic switch to make it work. I have heard that a motor from a 1979 truck was just like the comet switch , does know for sure..

    Thanks
    Burlin

    Hi there.
Welcome aboard. I moved your post to its own thread so it'll be spotted.
    Good luck getting it sorted.

A lot of changes between a 66 and 79 wiring, Different switch and motor. You can make the truck wiper motor work in your 66 but you will need the truck switch and your 66 crank between the motor and linkage.
