    Hi all, I own a 72 comet 302 c-4 that was wrecked sometime ago and I guess the body shop decided that a comet and maverick where the same so they installed the front clip of a maverick on this comet. So I am the proud owner of A 72 mercury maverick? Or a 72 ford comet? Or how about a comerick. I am still proud of (it) anyway.

    Sounds like the perfect combo to me! I have always liked the Comet tail lights better. Heck, I have been considering putting a Comet taillight panel in my '69 1/2 Maverick.
